植物细胞质壁分离与复原实验是生物学中必开实验。此实验是根据植物细胞膜具有半透性,当成熟的植物细胞处在一定浓度的外液中,就构成了一个渗透系统的原理。当外液水势低于细胞水势时,细胞失水,随着细胞液泡不断向外液失水,整个原生质体向内收缩,最后与细胞壁分离,即质壁分离,把已发生了质壁分离的细胞放入低浓度外液或清水中,此时细胞水势低于外液水势而向外液吸水,液泡膨胀,原生质体逐渐与细胞壁贴合,即实现了质壁分离复原。
