Objective: To observe the effect and mechanism of acetylcholine cholinesterase in cerebral ischemia injury. Methods: The rat model of common carotid artery occlusive shock was used to measure the content of MDA and the activity of SOD and AChE in rat hippocampal formation. Statistical analysis using t test. Results: Compared with the control group, the content of MDA and the activity of SOD in the hippocampus of shock group were decreased, and the optical density of AChE was significantly increased. Conclusions: ①The tissue hypoperfusion and the damage of nerve cell membrane rapidly occur after cerebral ischemia. ② AChE not only participates in the transmission of cholinergic neurotransmitter, but also may participate in the protective effect of neuronal injury in the early stage of cerebral ischemia.
