达成铁路的建成通车,无疑为沿线各市、县、区向新世纪迈步提供了极其广阔的空间。构建“达成经济新走廊”的战略,正是基于对这一“广阔空间”的思考。调整的时代契机1997年重庆市成为中央直辖市后,它迫使我们不得不对全省经济战略格局的重组进行思考。达成铁路的贯通,不仅形成了以成都为中心,连接江油、峨眉线,横贯四川南北的交通大动脉,同时也使金堂、遂宁、蓬溪、南充、蓬安、达川一线成为新的经济增长带。这是四川省调整战略格局的重大举措。因而,达成铁路这条交通纽带,便成为“达成经济新走廊”的契机,也将加速川中,川东北区域经济的形成。
The completion and operation of the railway reached a certain limit. This undoubtedly provided a vast space for the cities, counties and districts along the line to move toward the new century. The strategy of “building a new economic corridor” is based on the thinking of this “vast space”. Opportunity to Adjust the Times After becoming a municipality in central China in 1997, Chongqing forced us to think about the restructuring of the province’s economic strategy. Achieving the railway through not only formed a major artery connecting Chengdu with Jiangyou and Emei Line across the north and south of Sichuan, but also made Jintang, Suining, Pengxi, Nanchong, Peng’an and Dachuan a new economic growth zone . This is a major move by Sichuan Province to adjust its strategic layout. Therefore, reaching this traffic link of railways will become an opportunity to “reach a new corridor of economy” and accelerate the formation of a regional economy in central Sichuan and Northeast China.
