“詹大”这个名号在中国美术界几乎无人不知,但对于圈外人来说,却颇为神秘。今年已经76岁高龄的中国油画学会主席詹建俊不但身材高大,画也和人一般大气,因而得了这样一个雅号。黄永玉这样评价:“詹大很文雅。我们有共同的爱好,喜欢听一点音乐,读一点书,谈一点文化上的见闻之类。他服装整齐,温文尔雅,房子里窗明几净。”
