2014年7月的一天.烈日炎炎。笔者跟随合肥新四军研究会同志来到古都西安,看望并采访了新四军老战士、原兰州军区空军政委谢雪畴同志。我们刚进客厅,谢老闻讯就从书房里缓步走了出来。尽管已是95岁的耄耋老人,但他精神矍铄,耳聪目明,说话声音洪亮,口齿清晰。众人坐定,稍加寒暄之后,老人家就向我们谈起了早年参加革命的风雨历程……奇遇通向革命路1920年11月,谢雪畴出生于湖南省宁乡县的一户普通人家。儿时的他,上过几年私塾,先后在玉潭高级小学、宁乡乡村师范学校读书。谢雪畴的父亲曾与刘少奇是同学,也是宁乡农民运动的领导人之一。

In January 1920, Xie Xuechou was born in Ningxiang County, Hunan Province. Childhood, he spent a few years on private school, one after another in the Yutan senior elementary school, Ningxiang rural normal school. Xie Xuechou’s father was a classmate with Liu Shaoqi and one of the leaders of Ningxiang Peasant Movement.
