随着都市化进程的加快,道路、桥梁、建筑物的安全成了人们越来越关注的问题。桥梁、建筑物,甚至在空中飞行的飞机。在其材料断裂发生事故之前若能发出预警,甚至能够自行修补缺陷,那将会给人以极大的安全感。为了达到这个目的,科学家们在上世纪80年代提出了智能材料的构想,现在仍处于萌芽阶段,但人们已经看到了它的巨大潜力。
With the acceleration of urbanization, the safety of roads, bridges and buildings has become an issue of increasing concern to people. Bridges, buildings, and even airplanes flying in the sky. It would give a great sense of security if it could give an early warning before its accidental breakage of the material could repair its own defects. To this end, scientists proposed the concept of smart materials in the 1980s and are still in its infancy, but people have seen its enormous potential.
