郑王庙(Wat Arun),又称黎明寺(Temple of the Dawn),是纪念泰国第41代君王、民族英雄、泰国华裔郑昭的寺庙。郑王乃华人,出身贫贱,后过继宮中侍卫官得入宫当侍卫。乾隆时代缅甸入侵泰国,郑王组织民间武士反击,在乾隆帮助下成功击退缅军,终成泰王。后因泰国宫中政变,不再为王,但泰民感其威武,建巨塔群纪念。该塔群全部用各色碎瓷片装饰,瓷片用量何止千万,这也是海丝的重要物证!
Wat Arun, also known as Temple of the Dawn, is a temple dedicated to the 41st generation of Thai monarchs, national heroes and Thai Chinese.
