The authors report 154 cases of secretory otitis media surgically confirmed, of which 40 cases of single ear, ears 114 cases, mean age 5.5 years, were placed in the middle ear ventilation tube. Another 51 without ear disease, ear function of normal pupils as a control, the average age of 7.4 years old. RESULTS: Thirty-four patients had episodic balance disorders associated with secretory otitis media, accounting for 22%; none was found in the control group. Three cases of self-prosecution have rotational dizziness; more than 31 cases of frequent falls, collision with objects or clumsiness. 64% of children with malocclusion episodes of earache.
