利用短枝型品种是苹果矮密栽培的有效途径之一。为寻求或筛选出适于鞍山地区栽植的短枝型品种,1979年春,我们以2×3米的株行距,在相同条件下定植了一批短枝型苹果新品种,如好矮生、新红星、阿兹威矮生、金矮生等,同时还定植了矮化中间砧树金冠/M_(26),以普通金冠做对照。通过几年的观察比较看出金矮生很适合在我地区栽植,初步认为它是我地区苹果矮密栽培中很有发展前途的短枝型品种。现将其在我地区的主要表现简介如下。一、适应性强试验看出:定植后第二年各品种成活率虽均在
