1987～1989年,我县与山东农业大学共同进行的“德州地区大面积开发及亩产皮棉125公斤模式研究。”1989年10月经专家测产验收,1330亩模式田平均单产124.9公斤,其中330亩高达140公斤。我们的千亩高产植棉经验是:一、深耕改土、培肥地力冬前套耕23～26厘米,以加深耕层。亩施优质基肥4～5方,并于播前造墒。翻二犁时每亩再施40～50公斤饼肥和磷肥以培肥地力。
