应加拿大国家青年服务项目研究和开发主任的邀请,中国宏观经济研究院研究员、清华大学教授丁元竹于2006年7月11～20日赴加拿大进行学术交流,其间考察了蒙特利尔市的社区服务设施和社区服务组织,访问了魁北克省社会发展部、加拿大联邦政府人力资源和社会发展部社区发展局、国内税务局慈善司、加拿大联合劝募、加拿大国家发展署、公共政策论坛、加拿大志愿者协会等与社区发展有关的管理部门、政策研究部门以及实务部门,对加拿大的社区服务和社区组织有了一个初步了解
At the invitation of the Director of Research and Development of National Youth Service of Canada, Ding Yuanzhu, a researcher at China Macroeconomic Research Institute and a professor at Tsinghua University, went to Canada for academic exchanges from July 11 to July 20, 2006.
