The theory of central geography is one of the many western theories studied and introduced in the planning of urban system in our country. In this study, we select a sample system with a complete architecture - the Nuremberg G system from the birthplace of the theory. From the aspects of space shape, built-up area, population, population density and central distribution, The data of the representative time periods were studied and a number of observations were made on the changes of the system of centers. The article further analyzes the impact of this change, for planners to learn from. The study found that the middle and eastern regions of G system showed a significant trend of ascension and development, while the southwestern region showed a marked trend of weakening, showing an overall regional imbalanced development pattern.
