Pursuit of the fate of the novels in Kaili, we can see how the Australian national identity from ambiguity to clarity, national identity how to turn around in the crisis, how cultural identity in the dilemma to go beyond, self-identity how to link the modernity of reflection and the modern Human anxiety. From the author’s life experiences, the colonial history and identity reality reflected in his works, and the nationalism in Australian history, this paper analyzes why Kaili’s novels can be studied from the perspective of identification.
