品味崔惠民的画,颇感笔墨不俗。其作品别具一格,给人以挺拔潇洒、大气酣畅之感,且其重墨之下的磅礴气势聚散得体,飘逸之姿溢于画外。其间充满了热爱生活以及与大自然亲和无间的情韵。 惠民画竹注重意象美,他笔下的墨竹其实是一种意象符号。现实中的竹叶多为三角形,而崔惠民所写竹叶多为长方形、矩形、平行四边形等不同的几何体。崔惠民的画常常利用隐喻、暗示、物象,让观众体味到诗一般的意境;他也常用对比手法,如笔墨的明暗、虚实、远近及动与静的对比,使作品在对立统一中达到和谐、丰富;他的《墨竹图》简洁明快,笔法讲究,一竿直上,瘦劲绝伦,形成了独特的艺术风格。
