1968年夏,毛泽东接见有关中央和地方领导人。中央“文革”小组组长陈伯达组织新闻稿,将国家计划委员会第一副主任兼秘书长余秋里之名省略。毛泽东审阅时间：“还有余秋里嘛!”陈伯达无奈,只得将毛泽东原话“还有余秋里”转抄新闻稿上。后,凡报道中央大事,余秋里必居名单最末一名,且冠“还有”两字,当时广播于名单念完后,亦总停顿一下,曰：“在主席台上就座的,还有余秋里。”意在将其打入“另册”也。余秋里当时掌政于国务院生产组,与谷牧一起辅佐周恩来统筹全国“促生产”工作,名单上位居其前之人,多为“抓革命”之领导。此亦为一段特殊历史之传奇映射。
