The Thai Ministry of Commerce demanded that Thai commercial offices around the world step up efforts to find raw materials from various countries to supply the country’s major foreign exchange earning industries such as jewelry, clothing, food and chemical industries in order to reduce production costs and increase the competitiveness of their products.
