Recently, I have been writing works related to the construction of ruins. The works have been well received by the Central Academy of Fine Arts and the National Art Museum of China. Because I am a teacher of Beijing City University, I am more concerned with the current problem of urban demolition when I choose to create a theme. Demolition is a socially sensitive topic. With the rapid progress of urbanization, the contradictions caused by demolition have become increasingly prominent. The buildings with the era memories disappear in the roar, and the whole city seems to be reconstituted overnight.
