Only after nine months of working as the Party secretary of Wuxi, Mao Xiaoping was deprived of the Party member by the Jiangsu Provincial CPC Commission on April 14.
Mao was found to get engaged in taking bribery amounting to 575 thousand yuan and serious demoralization of maintaining illegal relationships with two women. Someone reported Mao Xiaoping’s misbehavior to the CPC Central Committee of Discipline Inspection, which later proved that he was guilty.
Mao Xiaoping was suddenly removed from the post as the Party secretary of Wuxi in December 2011. Then at the beginning of 2012 Mao was appointed deputy director of the Jiangsu Provincial Supply and Sale Agency until his ugly affairs were revealed.
Mao was born in Changzhou, Jiangsu in July 1957. He graduated from the Nanjing Normal University with a bachelor degree in law. He joined in the CPC in December 1981, five years after beginning his work. He once served in Wuxi as the deputy Party Secretary and mayor of this city.
