The reason for the early failure of dental implants is inadequate treatment planning, surgical trauma, implant overload and pathogenic bacteria. Experiments show that: the failure of implants and microbial flora, mainly caused by Gram-negative bacilli infection, the environment surrounding the implant and periodontal disease are similar. In this study, a qualitative method was used to determine the time-dependent accumulation of pathogenic bacteria in periodontal implants in patients with dental implants. The subjects were patients who did not receive medication and no systemic disease at the University of Michigan Dental Institute. Gingival margin and subgingival plaque were sampled at the same site of implant at 14 days and 28 days after the second stage of implantation.
