《中华内分泌代谢杂志》编辑部: 自从人们从下丘脑中提取得到生长激素释放因子(GRF)并确定其氨基酸序列以后,便出现了人工合成的GRF,用来治疗生长激素(GH)缺乏症。但由于GRF价格昂贵,使其应用受到限制。于是,人们开始合成了一系列结构简单、易于合成的GRF类似物,用来代替GRF。其中包括氨基酸序列为His-D-Trp-Ala-Trp-D-Phe-Lys-NH_2的六肽,即生长激素释放多肽(GHRP)。Momang和Bowers报道[Endocrinology 1984;114:1531,1537]其热力学稳定性好。生物学效果与GRF相似,并对大鼠的生长有促进作用。
Chinese Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism: Since the extraction of the human growth hormone releasing factor (GRF) from the hypothalamus and determination of its amino acid sequence, synthetic GRF has emerged for the treatment of growth hormone (GH) deficiency. However, due to the high cost of GRF, its use is limited. Thus, people began to synthesize a series of simple structure, easy synthesis of GRF analogues, instead of GRF. These include the hexapeptide amino acid sequence His-D-Trp-Ala-Trp-D-Phe-Lys-NH_2, which is the growth hormone releasing polypeptide (GHRP). Momang and Bowers [Endocrinology 1984; 114: 1531, 1537] have good thermodynamic stability. Biological effects and GRF similar, and promote the growth of rats.
