In his article “Research and Teaching of the History of the Party,” 2010, No. 6, Zou Huabin held that Mao Zedong proposed the principle of “taking grain as the key link”. Because the capital of China’s industrialization relies mainly on internal accumulation, and the important source of internal accumulation is agriculture. The center of agriculture is food production, which captures the grain.
