In the pneumatic base type high temperature liquid level indicator developed by the electric power department, I used the torsion tube element made of high temperature corrosion resistant elastic alloy and high temperature constant elastic alloy as the elastic element for detecting the liquid level. Its working medium is 450 ℃ superheated steam. To understand component performance, a set of optical torque-angle tester has been specially manufactured. The device’s heating device up to a maximum temperature of 700 ℃, can be used for torque tube high and low temperature performance test. Through the analysis and calculation, it is proved that the test device has some advantages, such as magnification of rotation angle, no friction, little additional transmission error and convenient assembly and adjustment.
