黄岩县目前柑桔产量的70%以上来自分布在平原水稻土和江边浅海沉积土上的桔园。由于同一地上世代连续种桔,加之长期清耕栽培造成的土肥流失和近期施化肥过多,致使这些桔园土壤肥力逐年递减,物理性状变劣,柑桔根系不能正常生长,树势变弱,严重影响桔果产量的提高和品质的改进。故对这些桔园土壤的改良,已经刻不容缓。 本试验通过施用松木屑,测定其改土的效果,为今后桔园土壤的改良和合理施肥提供理论方面的依据。
