A methed was developed for preparing a complex of retinol acetate and 5-cyclodextrin. Three methods bell used toverify the formation of a complex betWeen letinol acetate and 8-cycledextrin. The turbidic’ metLhod and the solubilit}+methed showed the complex formation in water suspension. The differential scanning calorimetric method indicated thepresence of the complex in solid state. It was also discovered that 0-cyclodextrin catal}’zed the hydrilysis of retinol acetateto rehnol in water solution. This research offered evidence which indicated the fonustion of complex between l.etinol acetate and 8-cycledextrin.
