The Yugoslav Federation of Journalists conducted a survey of the lives and workings of 5,764 journalists, the survey more than half the number of journalists nationwide. The survey results show that journalists aged over 40 and under 50 have the largest share of the total number of journalists, accounting for more than 60%, while journalists aged over 50 account for only 16%.
