皮影戏是中国历史悠久、流传很广的一种民间艺术。这种源于中国的艺术形式，令许多国外戏迷着迷，人们亲切地称它为“中国影灯”。
The shadow play has a long story. It uses shadow puppets to tell stories. The puppets are made of leather. They are moved between a light and a thin screen. In order to have different effects， people can move both the shadow puppets and the light source. A great puppeteer can make the shadow pupperts walk， dance， fight， nod and laugh. It is popular in various. Now， more than 20 countries are known to have shadow show troupes.
皮影戏历史悠久，它运用皮影来讲故事。皮影人物由动物毛皮制作而成，在光源与很薄的屏幕之间移动。为了产生不同的艺术效果，既可以移动光源，也可以移动人物。一位杰出的皮影艺人可以让皮影做出走、舞、打、点头甚至笑的动作。在不同的文化里，皮影都很受欢迎。现今，全球超过20个国家有皮影戏表演剧团。
