初中学生一般具有自尊心强而自控力差,争强好胜而又容易冲动的特点。如何教育这一年龄段的学生,是班主任普遍关注并感到棘手的问题。我的体会是:学生有了缺点错误,一味地批评训斥,往往不能奏效。因为人在感情冲动时,往往会产生强烈的排他性,就是正常的好言规劝也难以入耳,更何况是批评、训斥了。因此,应提倡“冷处理”。即等犯错误的学生逐渐冷静下来,经过一段时间的认真反思,具备了一定的心理基础时,再有的放矢地进行教育。再说,班主任面对犯错误的学生及班级出现的轩然大波,不可能无动于衷,也会掀起感情的波澜,同样需要克制,使自己冷静下来。这样才能比较理智地分析、思考面临的问题,寻找教育契机,选择教育方法。这样处理事情的方法,即所谓“冷处理”的方法。
