1968年冬季××地区发现一种原因不明的“低血钾麻痹症”(暂名)。临床特点为原因不明的肢体麻木、肌肉酸痛、乏力或不同程度的弛缓性瘫痪以及血清钾降低。患者多为青壮年,既往无类似发作史。现将资料较完整的613例其临床表现、治疗经过和病因调查报导如下。一、发病特点:本病的发生、发展和终止具有流行性的特征。即在寒冷的季节、在短暂的时间和一定的地区突然出现大量临床症状相似的病人。在发病地区上,农村的圩区和水网地带较丘陵地区为多;水利工地上
An unexplained “hypokalemic parahemosis” (tentative name) was found in XX in the winter of 1968. Clinical features include unexplained numbness, muscle aches, weakness or varying degrees of flaccid paralysis and reduced serum potassium. Mostly young patients, no history of similar attacks. Now more complete information on the 613 cases of its clinical manifestations, treatment and etiology survey reported as follows.
