Under the call and specific organization of the All-China Federation of Natural Science Special Societies and various specialized societies and scientific associations of all walks of China, scientists from all over the country enthusiastically participated in the “Sino-Soviet Friendship Month” and achieved great successes. The All-China Federation of Science and Technology had called the Soviet Academy of Sciences, the Library of the Soviet Academy of Sciences and the Union of Soviet Higher Education and Scientific Workers to congratulate the October Revolution commemoration and had received a call from the president of the Soviet Academy of Sciences. The societies also sent warm congratulations to the Soviet Union on the same or similar nature
