The caudatus (carpolestid) of the genus Gorgon Subengius mengi belongs to the earliest known plesiadapiform species in Asia. New specimens from the Soviet Union monkey clarified the anatomy of the teeth in this group. Monteggia Solenopsis rechsensis has a much more primitive dentition than previously thought, the lower dentateral 2.1.3.3, p4 low-crested, with three major prongs, but not as fully connate as the corresponding apex of Elphidotarsius, The lingual edge of P3 is narrower and the structure is simpler, while m1 does not have a highly extended lower anterior and posterior apices. The unique structure of the P3 and its reanalysis of the P3 anatomy of Elphidotarsius sp., Cf.E.florencae indicate that the past interpretation of the homology of some of the tooth tips of P3 was erroneous. Based on the detailed characterization, the phylogenetic relationship between the monkeys and their close relatives was reestablished. Chronolestes simul was re-identified as the most basal member of the monkeys of the family Bumbanian. Montesquieu, as well as Carpocristes oriens, which is another type of collapse during the collapse period, is also a relative member of the monkeys, but none of these Asian monkeys seem to have any special relationship with each other. Although the pernicious monkeys in North America and Asia have continued into the vicinity of the Paleocene-Cenozoic line, their spread between the two continents appears to be limited to the earlier Paleocene.
