The Tenth General Assembly of the International Society for Soil Mechanics and Basic Engineering (referred to as the International Association of Soil and Water Conservation) was held in Stockholm, Sweden on June 15-19, 1981. Over 1,500 delegates from more than 60 countries attended the conference. China Civil Engineering Society dispatched a delegation of eight people from CAS, Ministry of Railways, Ministry of Communications, Ministry of Water Resources and Construction Administration to participate in the meeting. The Ministry of Education also sent three generations
