传统的拉伸试验机夹块,是在夹块体或镶片上开出夹持棒材的V型牙、夹持板材的平面牙。夹块工作时与试样接触区域基本上是不变的或变化很小。当夹持部分的牙破损后,拉伸试验时就会产生打滑,夹持不住试样,使夹块报废。 螺杆或夹块新结构的特点,就是用两根可以转动的螺杆代替原来的普通夹块。转动螺杆就可以使非夹持区变成夹持区。让所有的牙都能有机会参加工作(其结构见图示)。它既可以夹圆试样,也可以夹板试样。由于螺杆与试样呈圆弧相切,切入阻力小,夹持可靠性高,基本上杜绝了拉伸阶段的打滑现象。
