随着科学技术的发展,医疗装备应用、管理与维修工程已成为一门新兴的综合性边缘学科。在发达国家的一所现代化医院中,临床工程部已成为与医务部、护理部鼎足而立的三大支柱。可见对医学领域其他专业和医院发展的重要性。兰州军区总医院于1987年成立器械科。通过几年的努力,本专科在硬件建设和软件建设方面都走出了一条新路,取得了可喜的成绩。迄今为止,本专科拥有高级工程技术人员2人,中级2人,初级9人,全部具有大学学历。装备了70多万元仪器设备,建立完善了电子仪器检修室、医学计量室、微机管理室等12个专业室。制定了切实可行的制度、规程和措施20多项。培养了一支掌握现代高科技的有一定层次结构的工程技术人员队伍,开展多项新技术、新业务和科研工作,申报军队科技进步奖5项。大胆进行技术革新,每年节约维修费30多万元。有力地管好全院价值近1亿元的医疗仪器设备,确保其正常运转,发挥其最大效能,充分发挥了专科的职能,确立了本专科在医院中重要地位。
