Organ-specific tumor metastasis involves two major factors of tumor cell and host organ characteristics, namely, tumor cell retention, adhesion in specific organs, and growth of extravascular extracellular environment. Specific organ microvascular endothelial cells mediated by adhesion molecules such as Pselectin, Eselectin, ICAM, and VCAM are associated with increased adhesion of circulating tumor cells. This is a complex and important step in determining organ-specific tumor metastasis. . The heterogeneity of the subendothelial matrix of the affinity organ is involved in the movement of the tumor cells. The organ parenchymal cells regulate the growth of tumor cells, collagenase expression, and angiogenesis through paracrine factors, and are also of great significance in organ-specific tumor metastasis.
