本文为纪念张舜徽先生诞辰一百周年而作。论述的主要问题是:大师的光辉靠什么来映照?作为一位国学大师,张舜徽先生的学术品格在现代学术史上的意义何在?作者指出,大师的光辉不是“自封”的,不是靠体制性力量或权力资源自我“运作”出来的;不是弟子们“吹捧”出来的;不是靠媒体“炒作”出来的。作者认为,“岁月”是判定一个人能否成为大师的决定性力量。“岁月”的主要含义是历史意识,它包括三个层面:其一,有明确的学术理想和学术目标;其二,有长期的学术积累;其三,有期待学术著作传世的长远意识。最后讨论张先生经常讲的一句名言“吾离后人近,而离今人远”的学术史意义。
This article is to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Mr. Zhang Shunhui’s birthday. What is the significance of the academic character of Mr. Zhang Shunhui in modern academic history as a masters of Chinese learning? The author points out that the gloriousness of the master is not “self-styled” and not relied on the system Sexual forces or power resources come out of self “operation ”; not out of disciples “touted ”; not out of the media “hype ” out. The author believes that “years ” is to determine a person can become a master of the decisive force. The main meaning of “Time” is historical consciousness, which consists of three levels: first, there are clear academic ideals and academic goals; second, there are long-term academic accumulation; third, there is long-term awareness of the expectation that academic works should be handed down . Lastly, I discuss the academic history significance of Zhang’s famous saying “I am close to the posterity and far from the present”.
