广州市第二人民医院前身为美国基督教长老会创办的柔济医院,创办于1899年,是一间具现代规模的综合性医院。现有在编职工一千多人,获副高级以上技术职称84人。该院按三级甲等医院的要求设有门类齐全的临床医技科室和行政后勤部门,并附属有设施一流的广州市妇产科研究所。曾多次分别获得广州市最佳服务单位、广州市卫生系统文明医院、广东省卫生系统文明医院等殊荣。 该院座落于风景秀丽的荔湾湖公园畔,环境优雅、舒适,布局合理。院内建筑包括一幢一万多平方米的九层门诊大楼和三幢住院病房楼等,其中于1993年新落成的九层手术科室大楼,使用面积共一万多平方米,内部功能按现代生活要求设计,为目前广州地区条件最好的综合性住院楼之一,大楼由广州市荣誉市民、香港知名爱国商人谭兆先生捐资兴建,经广州市政府命名并由广东省省长朱森林题字为谭兆楼。该院现拥有床位640张,日平均门诊量三千多人次,开设了64个专科专病门诊,其中在
The Second People’s Hospital of Guangzhou City, formerly known as the Rouji Hospital established by the American Presbyterian Church, was founded in 1899 and is a modern hospital. Currently, there are more than 1,000 staff members and 84 senior technicians. The hospital has a full range of clinical medical technology departments and administrative back-office departments at the request of tertiary A hospitals, and is affiliated with the Guangzhou Institute of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, which has first-rate facilities. It has won several awards such as Guangzhou Best Service Unit, Guangzhou Health System Civilization Hospital, and Guangdong Provincial Health System Civilization Hospital. The school is located on the banks of the scenic Liwan Lake Park. The environment is elegant, comfortable and the layout is reasonable. The hospital building includes a nine-storey outpatient building of more than 10,000 square meters and three inpatient wards, among which nine newly-built surgical department buildings were completed in 1993. The total area of use is more than 10,000 square meters. The internal functions are based on modern life. The design required was one of the best comprehensive hospital buildings in Guangzhou. The building was donated by the honorary citizen of Guangzhou City and Hong Kong-renowned patriotic businessman, Mr. Tan Zhao.
