今天,我非常高兴参加这次座谈会,从这个座谈会上,我看到了我们的希望和未来。因为我们都是年纪大一些的人了,看到年轻一代成长起来,很振奋。感谢唐有祺教授代表国家教委科学技术委员会向中央提出了这个“建设跨世纪优秀人才计划”的建议。这是很有远见,富有战略意义的。 1993年的评选工作经过各个学校推荐、有关部门评审,决定了42位优秀的年轻科学家和年轻教授的人选,并给他们的研究工作
Today, I am very happy to attend this symposium. From this symposium, I have seen our hope and future. Because we are all older people, we are excited to see the younger generation grow up. Thank you, Professor Tang Youqi, on behalf of the State Education Commission Science and Technology Commission, put forward this proposal of “Building a Talented Person Scheme Across the Century” to the Central Government. This is very far-sighted and strategic.
