地处嘉定的上海市大众工业学校是一所以工科类专业为主的国家级重点中专,具有学历教育、职业技能培训、职业技能鉴定三大功能。近年来,学校走出了一条服务社会、发展学校的职业教育办学之路,为地方经济的发展培养和输送了一流的技能型人才,赢得了社会各方的赞誉。嘉定一位区委书记曾说:“大众工业学校是我们嘉定的宝贝,是优质的教育资源。”为满足社区百姓日益增长的对优质教育的需求,促进学校可持续发展,学校提出了“德育为先、技能为本,构建和谐校园”的办学思想。学校注重学生的全面发展,在加强德育、重视技能教育的同时,实施“品牌立校”战略,取得了明显实效。
