对于合金工具钢、高速钢等含合金元素较多的材料,磨削困难,尤其是干磨,无论如何选择合适的砂轮材料、粒度、硬度,只要磨削量略加大点工件的表面就产生烧伤,甚至裂纹,故加工效率较低。为此,采用二硫化钼酒精浸泡砂轮新工艺,取得较好的效果。经二硫化钼酒精混合液浸泡过的砂轮,与未经渗二硫化钼的砂轮相比,砂轮寿命高,磨削效率可提高两倍,加工表面光洁度可提高1~2级。而浸泡工艺简单,操作方便,成本低,易于推广。
