目前加拿大在北部领土贝克湖的勘探区继续进行勘探。勘探区面积2300平方哩以上。最初是用航空普查,配合地面物探测量、地质填图、地化测量并打了约10000呎金钢钻。这些工程圈定了一些铀矿点,其中3个经钻探检查有重要价值。1974年末在地表取的样品中发现高含量的铀,样品是在1974年经航测发现异常的地区采取的。目前正对这些点进行详细勘探。其他异常也将进一步检查
Canada is currently continuing exploration in the exploration area of the northern part of Lake Baker. Exploration area of 2,300 square miles or more. Initially aerial census, with ground geophysical surveys, geological mapping, geochemical measurements and hit about 10,000 feet of diamond drill. Some of these works set a number of uranium deposits, of which three have important value through drilling inspection. At the end of 1974, high levels of uranium were found in the samples taken from the surface, and the samples were taken in the area where the anomaly was discovered in 1974. These points are currently being explored in detail. Other anomalies will also be further examined
