“十五”是我国钢铁工业结构调整的关键时期,依靠科技进步,实施“科教兴国”战略,是面向新世纪,实现钢铁工业结构优化,提高综合竞争力的根本动力。因此,做好“十五”冶金科技发展预研工作十分重要。
The “Tenth Five-Year Plan” is a crucial period for the structural adjustment of China’s steel industry. Relying on scientific and technological progress and implementing the strategy of “rejuvenating the country through science and education”, it is the fundamental impetus for the new century to achieve structural optimization of the steel industry and increase overall competitiveness. Therefore, it is very important to do a good job in the pre-research work on the development of the metallurgical science and technology in the “Tenth Five-Year Plan” period.
