近一些年来,国外铜工业的经济和产销情况出现了一些重要变化,细心地分析这些变化,就比较有把握地预测今后的发展。这些变化是: (一)美国铜产量冠军已被智利夺走 美国是一个产铜大国,铜产量素居世界之首,但近几年来,智利急起直追,把差距日益缩小,至1982年竟超过了美国。当年美国矿山产铜量为114万吨,而智利却达到123万吨,比美国多9万吨,这是铜工业发展史上一个令人瞩目的变化。
