危泽甫宅遗址系黔阳古城中心区域的一个占地面积较大的老宅。院子中除一间长短坡屋面的残留老屋,其余均已被拆毁。现沿院落四周存有高墙,但西南面院墙为原院落遗存,而东北向(即沿老爷巷和西正街)外院墙大部为近几年修复性再建,只是在建筑风格上仍沿用了原有院外墙风格。从现有院落地面遗存物来看,危泽甫宅遗址占地2亩多一点,总建筑面积约833.4平
