长寿化工厂是重庆最大的化工原料生产基地。1993年由于市场疲软和原材料涨价等因素,该厂亏损2407万元。面对巨额亏损,长化厂党政领导班子没有被困难吓倒,而是努力加强班子自身建设,形成强有力的集体领导和分工负责制,为企业扭亏提供了坚强的组织保证。他们依靠广大党员、职工齐心协力,心往一处想,劲往一处使,终于在1994年一举扭亏,并盈利198.9万元。
