萨北锡矿床是“七五”期间国家重点攻关305项目成果之一,是我国首次在 A 型花岗岩中发现的第一例成型锡矿床,这一成果的取得,不但将对我国锡矿资源分布现状的改变起着重要作用,而且还揭示了碱性花岗岩同样具有锡及多金属、贵金属形成工业矿床的良好前景。新疆东准噶尔贝勒库都克锡矿带,位于奇台、富蕴、青河三县接壤处,呈北西-南东向带状分布,长约130km,宽约20km,总面积约2600km~2,系“七五”期间国家重点攻关305项目成果之一。
