欲介绍河南固始县老年人京剧清唱社,必先介绍固始的京剧源流。 固始,古蓼城。是大别山脚下一个古老而又美丽富饶的县份,文风颇盛,仅就清代而言,县城内就有“七步两鼎甲(状元、榜眼门楹相对)进士上百名”的记录。固始地处豫、皖、鄂三省交界处。距中州韵、徽州韵与湖广韵的老家都不甚远,当地语言演唱京剧有着得天独厚的条件。1881年一个半徽半京的京剧班社——“庆寿班”,由固始籍的南京制台吴元炳带
