The results show that road noise exposure is associated with hypertension, but there is no reliable correlation between exposure-blood pressure response. The study conducted a meta-analysis to assess the relationship between exposure to road noise and the prevalence of hypertension-blood pressure response and to try to understand the reasons for the differences between the results of the studies. METHODS: A total of 27 observational studies published in the UK, Germany and the Netherlands from 1970 to 2010 were evaluated. Finally, data from 24 studies were summarized.
