SECRAL(Superconducting ECR Ion Source with Advanced design in Lanzhou)magnet body was suc- cessfully fabricated and shipped to Lanzhou in 2005.The magnet was successfully ramped up to 100% its design current during the acceptance test at IMP.The 12 h stability test of the magnet at 95% of its design current provoke indicated the reliability of SECRAL superconducting magnet body.After the SECRAL test stand was assembled,the source was ignited at 18 GHz in August 2005.Preliminary commissioning
