农民工是在我国经济转型过程中形成的一种特殊的劳动力群体,是我国工业化和城镇化进程中产生的独特社会现象。农民工在我国经济建设中发挥着巨大的作用,然而他们的合法权益却没有得到应有的保障,如就业权、社会保障权、教育发展权、民主政治权等。目前应加强从法律上对农民工权益的保障。
Migrant workers are a special kind of labor force formed in the process of China’s economic restructuring and are the unique social phenomena that have emerged in the process of industrialization and urbanization in our country. Migrant workers play a tremendous role in the economic construction of our country. However, their legitimate rights and interests have not been properly guaranteed, such as employment rights, social security rights, education development rights and democratic political rights. At present, the protection of migrant workers’ rights and interests should be strengthened.
