民族自治地方的政府法制工作 ,是民族法制建设不可缺少的部分 ,是民族自治地方政府工作的重要基础 ,是民族自治地方依法行政、实行依法治省(区)、县 ,以及坚持和完善民族区域自治制度的重要保证。民族自治地方的政府法制工作 ,又是一项较新的工作 ,被人们认识的深度和广度都很不够 ,无论是理论研究 ,还是实践工作中都存在许多亟待解决的问题。本文围绕新形势下如何加强民族自治地方的政府法制建设问题 ,从政府法制建设的重要意义、民族自治地方政府法制建设的基本内容 ,当前民族自治地方政府法制建设存在的问题及应采取的措施等几个方面作简要探讨 ,以期对其引起足够重视 ,进一步搞好此项工作
